About the event
All About The Pork!
Our friends Thomas and Danny Illichmann will be hosting an educational seminar in lieu of our regular meeting on Monday March 3rd at Lakehouse Kitchens Cooking School. The demo will focus on pig butchery. From breaking it down to primal cuts then to secondary, ready to cook cuts. OCA Members are encouraged to join in on the butchery fun if so please wear your whites or bring an apron!
Doors open at 530PM - please enter through the main doors of the store. Please note the store doors will close at 6pm sharp as the store closes. If you are running late, please call (250) 763-9500
Demo will start at 6PM
Afterwards, everyone will split into teams and get 90mins to cook their dish with the pork from the demo for all to enjoy!
There will be a cash bar available by the team at Lakehouse.
